Thinking about mindfulness…the practice of paying attention and being aware.
When you are mindful about your body’s sensations and movement, you will heal faster and perform better. Also, injury prevention may be possible.
So, make mindfulness a way-of-life, a preferred mindset, throughout your day.
For instance, when you walk, pay attention to how your feet contact the ground. Determine the degree of comfort and symmetry. What about your knees, hips, and other body parts?
Consider this practice a sort of “internal inventory” of your tissues - skin, joints, muscles, etc. - as you do what you do. Turn off your auto-pilot mode and tune in.
Your expanded awareness will inform your next decision and subsequent action.
