“Settling In” is much, much more…

Before this morning, “settling in” meant getting comfortable in my chair.

Now, it’s much, much more.

As I started my meditation at 6:15 am, “settling in” happened in a very different way.

It was inside my body. It was appreciation then acceptance. And then a strong sense of grounding.

As I stayed present, I noticed strong energy in my cheek bones. That particular location was a first for me. Very unusual.

I continued to sit and received a final impression of knowing - that real knowing comes from a grounded place within.

Reluctantly, I ended my quiet time, certain that “settling in” - a grounded knowing - is a spiritual state.

From now on, “settling in” unites my body and my soul.
