Practicing “Persistent Peace”

In the healthcare world, “persistent” is often used in relation to pain, “persistent pain.” This descriptor means … ongoing, unrelenting, never-ending, and life-changing.

What if we use this descriptor for something desirable like peace?

“Persistent peace” is bold, committed, centered, and rock-hard steady.

As a physical therapist, peace matters because it promotes physical healing. Your muscles relax so your circulation improves. Your nervous system calms so your immune system focuses. Your breathing and heart rate are well-balanced. And your natural healing process is efficient and highly productive.

Straight-up peace is good but “persistent peace” is a chosen lifestyle, a path that lives it each and every day, moment-by-moment.

Imagine the potential of the human body in “persistent peace!”
