Is multi-tasking an “ego trip”???
Yes, as a multi-tasker myself, I definitely “trip” on better efficiency and productivity.
For me, time is always limited so why not stack the mindless, habitual tasks?
Yet, multi-tasking is not cool when interacting with others - during physical therapy treatments, talking on the phone, attending a meeting, having lunch with someone.
At these times, my ego must step off the plane or train or bus…the trip must end. Efficiency and productivity become irrelevant.
Real, loving relationships - regardless of the type and depth - thrive in a timeless, spiritual dimension, when only the present moment exists.
“Tasking” is not possible when people are connecting their inner selves.
