Disability: A State of Mind Not Body
For over 30 years, I have worked with people of all ages with various physical injuries and conditions.
Some people regain their “normal” life, but others do not … like after an amputation or spinal cord injury or stroke or head injury.
Over time, the mind and body heal and adjust, and the person chooses how to move forward.
I applaud those who move forward with resilience and passion, who redefine their “normal,” who refuse to wear the “disability” label.
»»» No doubt, disability is a state of mind not body.
