At age 60, what is your mind-body-spirit balance?

Not sure when mid-life starts or ends, but I am certainly thinking more about retirement and aging.

With that said, I have been wondering about my mind-body-spirit balance for the next 30 years of my Earthly lifetime.

Here are some questions I am asking myself:

  1. What body parts or systems should I prioritize? What do I want my body to “accomplish” in my later years?

  2. How do I keep my conscious-learning mind challenged and resilient? How do I keep my subconscious-habitual mind impassioned and creative?

  3. When is my spirit most important? When should I intentionally and consistently engage love, compassion, forgiveness, and hope?

  4. Since my mind, body, and spirit work together, how can I encourage this connection? Why does this matter?

Of course, my mind-body-spirit balance is uniquely mine. And your balance is uniquely yours.

As I answer these questions, I am confident that all of me will be respected and valued as I age. And that the balance leads to happy, “golden” years!
